Buckingham Palace – paper model

Buckingham Palace paper-craft model commissioned by paper company G.F Smith.

This piece was created as one of 12 paper-craft table centrepieces for a posh event to promote G.F Smith’s paper-range ‘Colorplan’.  They asked 12 different paper-artists from The Paper Artist Collective to submit a paper-piece.
The brief was to create a London Landmark using only Colorplan papers. As the paper pieces would be displayed on a 42 by 42 cm square stack of papers, this meant my paper-model became a to-scale miniature, standing proud at just 11 cm tall!
The deadline for the paper-model was, quite coincidentally, the 21st of April – which is the birthday of the Queen.

My Buckingham-Palace paper-craft model was displayed for the one evening only, and is now back in my possession.
The piece is available for hire upon request and I am open to move it to a more permanent home with the right buyer/collector.
